PACCA-1: Organizational Identity & ARC Compliance

ProACT Critical Care Academy, L.L.C. (“ProACT Academy”) is a licensed and accredited emergency preparedness, health‑safety, and workforce‑development training organization delivering American Red Cross ("ARC") compliant programming. All instructional and operational authority is governed by the ProACT Academy Training and Education Authority, which oversees adherence to national standards, legal requirements, and ARC programmatic rules.

This policy establishes:
• The organizational identity of ProACT Academy.
• The governance relationship with ARC Training Services.
• The compliance structure regulating all training delivery.
• Requirements for maintaining licensing and accreditation status.

1. Organizational Naming Standards
   a. Legal entity name: ProACT Critical Care Academy, L.L.C.
   b. Common operational name: ProACT Academy.
   c. Operational governance structure: ProACT Academy Training and Education Authority (“the Authority”).
   d. These names must be used accurately in documentation, contracts, policies, and public communication.

2. ARC Compliance Requirements
   a. ProACT Academy must uphold ARC’s national training policies, manuals, instructor requirements,
      and certification structures for all Red Cross classes.
   b. ARC curricula must not be modified, altered, shortened, or substituted.
   c. All instructors teaching on behalf of ProACT must:
      • Maintain active ARC instructor certification.
      • Complete instructor updates and recertifications on schedule.
      • Deliver curriculum according to ARC Instructor Manuals and IT Guides.
      • Use ARC required manikin ratios, AED trainers, and consumables.
      • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ARC standards.

3. Use of ARC Materials
   a. Only ARC‑approved skill sheets, videos, lesson plans, and performance benchmarks may be used.
   b. No outside agency content may be used during ARC certification programs unless permitted by ARC.

4. Program Oversight by ProACT Academy Training and Education Authority
   a. The Authority conducts oversight related to:
      • Instructor performance evaluation
      • Quality assurance reviews
      • Curriculum alignment checks
      • Certification issuance validation
      • Incident and deviation investigations
   b. The Authority maintains the right to remove instructors, suspend operations, or require remediation if
      ARC compliance is jeopardized.

5. Contract Requirements
   a. ProACT Academy must comply with ARC Training Provider Agreements.
   b. Non‑compliance may lead to loss of licensing or contract suspension; immediate corrective action
      must be taken when deficiencies are identified.
